YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
All the nitty-gritty details you might need. If you have a question that isn't answered here, feel free to reach out to us!
Our wedding will take place at 14:30 Saturday, 13 February 2027, at Hillbrook Estate in the Coromandel, New Zealand.
Please arrive at least half an hour (14:00) before the Ceremony begins.
For guests travelling from overseas, we recommend arriving at least two or three days before the wedding. This will give you time to recover from the journey, adjust to the time difference and make your way to the Coromandel without feeling rushed. On the day of the wedding, please arrive by 14:00.
Hillbrook Estate is located near Whangamatā in the Coromandel region. The easiest way to reach this region is by car from Auckland or Hamilton.
We recommend guests find accommodation in Whangamatā and to use the bus we have organised that will run between Whangamatā town centre and the venue. We will provide more detailed information on the bus pickup location closer to the date, and directions for other mode of transportation and recommended travel routes are in our Getting There section.
We have planned transport (GO Bus Coromandel) between Whangamatā town centre and the wedding venue.
Further information, including collection points and timings, will be shared once we have received everyone’s RSVPs. Please let us know where you will be staying when completing the RSVP form (if you already know).
We recommend staying in or around Whangamatā. A selection of hotels, holiday homes and other accommodation options can be found on our Accommodation page.
The dress code is Kiwi summer formal.
The ceremony and reception will take place in a coastal setting, with parts of the day held outdoors. We suggest elegant summer clothing, breathable fabrics and footwear suitable for walking on grass.
February is mid summer in New Zealand, so we are hoping for warm and sunny weather. However, coastal conditions can change quickly, and evenings may feel cooler.
We recommend bringing sun protection, a light layer for the evening and something suitable for unexpected rain.
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children who are apart of the wedding party.
We hope this gives you the opportunity to relax and celebrate with us.
Plus-ones are welcome, but due to the limited capacity of the venue, we kindly ask that you include their name when completing your RSVP.
Unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate any additional guests who have not been included in advance.
Please include any allergies or dietary requirements when completing your RSVP. We will do our best to ensure that everyone is well looked after.
For serious allergies, we also recommend contacting us directly so that we can discuss the arrangements with our caterer.
We are planning to hold the celebration outdoors, weather permitting. The venue also has a wet-weather plan, so the wedding will go ahead whatever the New Zealand weather decides to do.
We would love for you to be fully present with us during the ceremony, so we kindly ask that phones and cameras remain put away.
Our photographer will capture the moment, and you will have plenty of opportunities to take photographs afterwards.
You are welcome to share photographs from the celebration after the ceremony. We simply ask that you avoid posting photographs of the ceremony or the couple before we have had the opportunity to do so ourselves.
Parking at the venue will be available but limited. Where possible, we encourage guests to use the organised bus transport rather than driving.
Further parking and transport information will be provided closer to the wedding.
Yes! We would love you to join us for a relaxed post-wedding barbecue and brunch on Sunday, 14 February 2027.
It will be a casual opportunity to catch up, enjoy the surroundings and spend a little more time together before everyone begins their journey home. Further details will be available on the Day After page.
Your presence is the greatest gift! It is truely a rare occassion for us to have everyone together, therefore we thank you in advance for spending this special day with us. If you do however wish to gift us something for the occassion we will put in place a cash registry next to our guest book on the day where you will be able to drop cash gift.
Please RSVP as soon as you can but no later than a month before the wedding using the form on our website.
Even if you are unable to attend, we would be grateful if you could complete the form so that we can finalise our arrangements.
